Outbound Solar Sales

Cleanstart is seeking a Lead Generator for their Outbound Solar Sales team. This part-time role involves engaging with potential customers in assigned neighborhoods, educating them about solar energy, and generating interest for the sales team. Strong communication skills and a background in sales or customer service are preferred. The position offers a flexible schedule and is hybrid remote, based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

As a Lead Generator at Cleanstart, you will play a vital role in connecting with potential customers in their communities and guiding them through their journey toward solar energy adoption. Responsibilities
• Engage with potential customers through direct, face-to-face interactions in assigned neighborhoods.
• Educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy and Cleanstart’s offerings.
• Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Generate interest and set appointments for the sales team to conduct consultations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up on leads promptly.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements
• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Ability to handle objections professionally and confidently.
• Familiarity with technology sales or renewable energy is a plus.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with in-person interactions.
