Environmental Designer

Position Overview

Impact XM is a leader in creating innovative solutions for both virtual and live events and a global event and experiential marketing agency that empowers brands to power business. We are seeking a talented Environmental Designer for a remote, full-time position. In this role, you will provide creative solutions for meeting client needs and objectives by designing exhibits and related environments as effective sales and marketing tools. You will be involved with projects from concept to completion while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Our brand is built on passion, curiosity, collaboration, trust, and respect.

Key Responsibilities
• Design environments across various brands and industries.
• Provide design and visualization support to design team leads.
• Manage several projects simultaneously.
• Create photo realistic renderings.
• Present concepts to internal stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
• Be responsible, organized, and accountable for your work and deadlines.
• Take direction and apply feedback to your work.
• Understand materials and building techniques, including reading construction drawings.
• Collaborate within the Creative department and across the organization.
• Communicate with clarity, confidence, competence, professionalism, and authenticity.
• Stay current with design trends and integrate them into your work where relevant.

Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Industrial Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or a related field and Experience Required: 3–5 years’ relevant design experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, Vray, Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Unreal Engine is a plus.
• Must be passionate about working with people and customer-centric.
• Experience in event marketing or within a creative solutions-based agency.
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.
• Embody flexibility, open-mindedness, and receptivity.
• Actively work out solutions and effectively communicate design rationale.
• Demonstrate strong presentation and written documentation skills, including preparing proposals, quotations, and client communications.
• Develop excellent rapport with clients while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
