• *Job Summary:**

Opis Renewable Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Battery Energy Storage Technician with experience in Utility Scale BESS, as well as expertise in inverter and transformer systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of battery storage energy systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• *Responsibilities:**

- Under the leadership and guidance of the team leader, install and commission battery energy storage systems and inverters/transformers in accordance with manufacturer requirements and industry standards.

- Maintain records of battery energy storage system, inverters/transformers maintenance, servicing, and upkeep.

- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

- Complete work record documents in a timely manner.

- Comply with all health and safety rules and policies.

Qualifications:

- High school or higher degree, with a preference for a background in electrical subjects.

- Relevant experience as a field service technician or in a similar role, with specific knowledge of Utility Scale BESS and Inverter/Transformer systems.

- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A forklift operator's license would also be advantageous.

- Proficiency in using electrical tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Must be able to travel to regional locations as needed.

- Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, climbing and descending stairs and ladders, and working outdoors.
