Architectural Designer Overview



The Architectural Designer will contribute to producing high-quality architectural documents for multi-site projects, ensuring adherence to brand standards and project timelines.
Collaborate with project architects and design teams to interpret and implement client brand standards into construction drawings.
Work in a hybrid environment, combining on-site and remote work for flexibility and efficiency.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop detailed plans, sections, elevations, and construction documents.
Engage with consultants and jurisdictions to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Participate in a collaborative team environment focused on delivering quality and timely results.

Architectural Designer Key Responsibilities & Duties



Develop and manage construction drawings, ensuring compliance with brand standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil consultants to integrate and review project drawings.
Maintain CAD standards, including layering, naming conventions, and file management.
Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency in drawing sets.
Assist in obtaining permit approvals and revising documents to meet jurisdictional requirements.
Support project teams through design development and construction document phases.
Participate in production meetings and contribute to improving workflows and efficiencies.

Architectural Designer Job Requirements



Bachelor of Science in Architecture or related field is required.
2-4 years of experience in architectural production or CAD drafting is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is strongly required; experience with Revit is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and experience managing drawing sets and file structures.
Ability to interpret design intent and work independently on production tasks.
Experience with multi-site rollout projects and branded commercial implementations is advantageous.
Familiarity with coordinating drawings across jurisdictions and with consultants.
