Accountant

Cellcom is seeking an Accountant in Green Bay, WI, responsible for maintaining fixed asset records, collaborating on capital projects, and preparing property tax returns. The role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, at least one year of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position is full-time and not remote.
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining and updating fixed asset records for Nsight subsidiaries, collaborating with engineering on capital projects to track costs and report budget variances, and preparing property tax returns to reduce the tax burden. The position requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Maintain accurate real-time fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation.
• Collaborate with engineering to monitor capital project costs, track asset transfers, and report on budget variances.
• Prepare and file annual property tax returns for Nsight entities in multiple states, ensuring tax burden reduction.
• Understand and apply sales, use tax, and licensing issues on fixed asset purchases and leases across various states.
• Manage and administer capital leases, insurance claims, and certificates of insurance, and coordinate capital project audits to evaluate spending and benefits.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum one year of experience, preferably in telecommunications.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel, along with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills for interaction at all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and consistently meet deadlines.
