Piper Maddox is partnered with a rapidly growing, sponsor-backed energy infrastructure platform. The team is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its leadership team.




The company develops and invests in critical electric transmission infrastructure that supports the growing demand for reliable, affordable, and clean energy across the United States. This is a highly entrepreneurial role reporting directly to the CFO and partnering closely with investors, executive leadership, and development teams, while also overseeing a team of associates.




Responsibilities:

Project Finance

Lead the structuring and execution of project-level debt financings for large-scale infrastructure projectsManage construction financing, term debt, lender negotiations, and financing processesCorporate Finance/Strategic Transactions

Lead financial analysis for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic initiativesDevelop valuation models and support transaction executionPartner with executive leadership on growth strategy and capital allocation decisionsCapital Markets/Investor Engagement

Help develop the company's long-term corporate financing strategySupport future corporate debt issuances and equity capital raisesBuild and maintain relationships with investment banks, institutional investors, and financing partnersTreasury/Liquidity Management

Oversee corporate cash management and liquidity planningManage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirementsMaintain banking relationships and treasury operationsLeadership/Team Development

Manage and mentor a growing finance teamCollaborate across finance, development, legal, regulatory, and executive teams


Qualifications Required:

8+ years of experience in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Infrastructure Finance, or a related fieldExperience within renewable energy, utilities, power, infrastructure, or energy transition sectorsDemonstrated experience in structuring and executing project-level debt financingsStrong financial modeling and analytical capabilitiesExperience evaluating financing structures and transactionsTreasury and liquidity management experienceProven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related fieldU.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirements
