Join our team as a full-time Traveling Environmental Health and Safety Manager supporting an innovative technology project, specifically within our Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables market segments.

Position Description:
Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and project teams to ensure strict compliance with company policies, programs, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements on single construction projects within your assigned geographic area. You'll lead the training on best safety practices and guide project teams in managing environmental and hazardous materials.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Lead and enforce Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards on project sites as defined by corporate policy.Manage time and resources effectively and provide leadership in safety initiatives.Identify safety practices, evaluate risks, and implement action plans to improve safety awareness on site.Communicate performance improvement requirements to project teams using established safety standards and best practices.Monitor safety trends to reduce incident rates and manage regulatory risks.Develop and deliver site-specific training on EH&S policies and safe work practices.Advocate for safe work conditions and practices according to company and regulatory standards.Maintain positive working relationships with project staff and safety representatives.Develop and enforce the project's Safety Program and related policies.Identify unsafe practices and conditions, engage with teams to implement corrective actions.Establish accountability models to ensure adequate pre-planning for tasks involving subcontractors.Review subcontractor safety programs to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.Conduct effective worker orientation programs for new employees and track participation.Collaborate with leadership to create and analyze project safety reports and metrics.Ensure timely recording of safety meetings and conduct safety audits to assess compliance.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field with at least 4 years of construction safety experience, or a combination of education, training, and experience.Current Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) certification required or to be obtained within 2 years.Must have completed OSHA 30-hour training and have current First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local Environmental Health & Safety regulations.Proficient in safety and environmental principles and their application.Ability to recognize safety hazards and lead corrective action implementation.Familiar with general construction operations.Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.Willingness to travel and access to reliable transportation.Physical Demands:
This role requires physical capabilities essential for active work on construction sites, including climbing stairs and ladders, negotiating uneven surfaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
Expect to work at construction sites with exposure to noise, moving parts, outside conditions, and potential electrical hazards. Office environments may also be encountered, typically quieter in nature.
