Microbiologist Executive

Theon Lifesciences Limited is seeking a Microbiologist Executive in India. Responsibilities include environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, and maintaining microbial cultures. The role involves operating laboratory instruments, preparing trend reports, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and GLP. The position is full-time with a salary range of INR 33,333 to INR 41,667 per month.
Role & responsibilities



Execute routine environmental monitoring of production areas.

Perform air sampling, surface monitoring, settle plate exposure, and personnel monitoring.

Monitor cleanroom microbiological conditions.

Prepare trend reports for environmental monitoring data.

Maintain microbial cultures and reference strains.

Prepare and sterilize microbiological media and reagents.

erform microbiological testing of purified water and potable water.

Monitor compressed air and other utilities as per the monitoring schedule.

Report any out-of-specification (OOS) or abnormal findings immediately.

Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, stability samples, and in-process samples.


Operate laboratory instruments such as:

Autoclave

Incubator

Laminar Air Flow (LAF)

Participate in investigations related to:

OOS

OOT

Deviations

Laboratory incidents

CAPA implementation

Assist in root cause analysis.


Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Data Integrity requirements.

Ensure timely calibration and qualification of laboratory equipment.
Monitor laboratory inventory and consumables.
