LinkedIn is hiring a Sustainability Project Management Officer in India to oversee multiple real estate projects. Responsibilities include defining strategies, conducting feasibility studies, managing project budgets, and ensuring quality and safety standards. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, and at least 20 years of project management experience in the real estate sector. As the Head of Projects at Trehan Iris, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of multiple projects in the real estate sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with management to define strategies for residential and commercial projects, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
- Conducting feasibility studies and preparing detailed project proposals for review.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced project efficiency.
- Representing Trehan Iris in meetings with clients, investors, and regulatory authorities to ensure projects reflect commitment to excellence and quality.
- Participating in bidding processes and negotiating contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Organizing and managing all resources and site activities to achieve efficient and economic project completion while meeting safety and quality requirements.
- Staying updated on real estate market trends, including new construction technologies and market economics.
- Analyzing competitors' projects and performance to adjust company strategies accordingly.
- Overseeing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Developing comprehensive project schedules for ongoing developments and ensuring projects are completed on time.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Reviewing and approving project plans, drawings, and technical documents.
- Analyzing project profitability and implementing necessary adjustments for financial viability.
- Tracking project expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Conducting surprise site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Overseeing quality assurance practices and implementing sustainable practices in all projects.
- Acting as the primary liaison between the design team and site operations to ensure proper implementation of GFC drawings.
- Ensuring smooth coordination between central teams to align all aspects of a project.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management (NICMAR or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- At least 20 years of experience in project management within the real estate and construction industry.
- Extensive experience in overseeing large-scale projects and managing high-value projects.
- Strong leadership, management, technical, and financial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
