International Paper Company is hiring a full-time Production Worker in Portland, OR, with a pay rate starting at $23.15/hr, increasing to $27.36/hr after evaluation. The role involves lifting heavy objects, maintaining production records, and operating machinery. Workers must be flexible with shifts, which include 12-hour days. Position Title:




Production Worker



Pay Rate:




$23.15/hr*




*increases to $27.36/hr following new hire evaluation period



Category/Shift:




Hourly Full-Time (Four 12-hour days per week)




Must be flexible to work any shift:




A Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM




B Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM




C Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM for 2 days, 24-hr break then 7 PM to 7 AM for 2 days

The Job You Will Perform:



Move or lift heavy objects
Maintain production or work records
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
Clean rooms or work areas
Adjust production equipment/machinery set-up
Clean equipment or machinery
Monitor production machinery/equipment operation to detect problems
Sort manufacturing materials or products
Load, unload or stack containers/materials and product
Assigned to open positions in the facility, which may include forklift driving
Other duties assigned by Supervisor
