AES Sustainability Consultants Limited is seeking a remote Sustainability Consultant (SAP, OCDEA) to produce SAP assessments and EPCs for residential developments in Scotland. In this remote role, you’ll produce SAP assessments and EPCs for major residential developments, supporting our clients in meeting Section 6 requirements and achieving their sustainability objectives. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about energy efficiency, this is an opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying flexible working and career development.The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated sustainability consultant capable of producing energy assessments and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for large national developers using the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) methodology. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective working relationships with colleagues and clients. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of accuracy and organisation skills.Job Responsibilities Provision of SAP assessments and EPCs to ensure our clients achieve compliance with Section 6 and EPCs are issued in a timely mannerManaging projects comprising a small number of services, including planning and tracking progress against deadlines, coordinating inputs, and escalating issues where necessaryActive engagement with the client and design team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved over the lifecycle of the developmentProviding high quality consultancy and written reports at land purchase and planning stage to ensure that planning requirements are metUtilisation of resources from within the team to ensure that the client receives timely, high-quality advice and assessmentsPlease note: This list covers the core responsibilities but isn’t exhaustive.
