National Renewable Energy Partners is hiring a Solar Sales Specialist in Minnesota. The role involves conducting site assessments, providing technical sales support, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have experience in solar or energy sales, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. The position offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, and a commission-based pay structure, with expected hours not exceeding 40 per week.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping us to help find homeowners who could benefit from solar. This position requires good communication skills, the ability to stay self motivated, the constant eagerness to learn and navigate the changing solar industry, great customer service . The Solar Sales Specialist will also engage in technical sales and provide exceptional support to clients throughout the sales process.

Duties
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best solar solutions for customers.
• Provide technical sales support by explaining system benefits and addressing customer inquiries.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure satisfaction and successful project completion.
• Utilize software tools such as managing customer relationships, and reporting on project progress.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality service.
• Offer exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client needs and providing ongoing support post-installation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in solar energy.

Experience
• Proven experience in solar sales or energy sales is preferred.
• Background in technical sales or outside sales is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Leadership experience is beneficial for guiding teams during installations or training new staff members.
• Familiarity with software tools related to sales management and project tracking is advantageous.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
