Amazon Business (AB) is looking for an analytical, driven, and creative leader to join the Socially Responsible Purchasing (SRP) team as a Senior Program Manager (PM). In this role, you will own the go to market plans and programs that help our public sector customers support SRP initiatives while driving awareness and adoption of resources available to help Amazon’s small business selling partners succeed and grow their B2B sales. This will include developing the strategic analysis and product/process enhancements necessary to increase SRP customer engagement, product selection, and partnerships.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Program Manager (PM), you will work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, co-owning the SRP team’s work to segment customers and B2B sellers by managing strategic projects, developing incentive programs, and translating customer vendor requirements to Amazon’s B2B sellers.

A day in the life

Projects for this role include developing models and assessing the capacity of AB’s third-party sellers to meet the demands or our customers who prefer to spend money with small/diverse sellers, local sellers, and businesses that offer sustainable products and services. This role will also own projects to integrate socially responsible purchasing into AB’s growing planned and contract-spend segments.

About The Team

The AB Socially Responsible Purchasing (ABSRP) team is driving growth for our sellers to support our enterprise customers across industries who are increasingly focused on purchasing responsibly, driven by CSR/ESG goals and mandates to support local businesses, diverse suppliers, and sustainable economies. We relentlessly innovate across a broad spectrum of functions including expanding our selection, removing friction in the customer and seller experience, and providing exceptional convenience. We are disrupting the status quo by delivering new, efficient initiatives to grow small, diverse, sustainable, and local sellers

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Knowledge of SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
