The Team

This position supports and promotes procurement activities aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles within Hitachi Digital. Under general supervision, the professional executes and proposes improvements to sustainable procurement strategies. This role also contributes to cross-functional project management such as procurement operations restructuring and document management updates.

The Role

Execution and Support of Sustainable Procurement Strategy
Execute procurement initiatives aligned with corporate sustainability goals independently under general supervision.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote procurement practices that support environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
Maintain supplier relationships and monitor compliance with sustainability standards.
Collect and report sustainability metrics related to procurement activities.
Participation in Special Procurement Project Management
Contribute to project management of cross-functional projects related to procurement operations restructuring and organizational changes.
Coordination with Stakeholders
Coordinate with internal departments and global stakeholders to align procurement initiatives and share best practices.

What You'll Bring

Practical experience in sustainable procurement or general procurement operations, preferably with leadership role.
Experience participating in organizational change or business improvement projects, preferably with leadership role.
Strong interest and knowledge in ESG, CSR, and environmental regulations.
Flexible thinking based on business acumen.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience coordinating and working with global stakeholders.
