Position Summary

We are looking for a Procurement Engineer to support sourcing and procurement activities for utility-scale solar and BESS projects across global market. The role involves vendor identification, supplier qualification, RFQ/RFP management, commercial evaluation, and coordination with internal engineering and estimation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.




Core Responsibilities

Identify and onboard new suppliers for solar PV, BESS, electrical, civil, and balance-of-system equipment.Maintain and update the vendor database with supplier information, certifications, and compliance documents.Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to qualified vendors and manage the complete bidding process.Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, technical documents, lead times, and commercial clarifications.Perform commercial bid evaluations and prepare comparison sheets.Follow up with vendors for pricing, technical queries, and documentation.Support FEOC, domestic content, and supplier compliance documentation requirements.Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, and Project teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.Maintain procurement records, vendor communications, and project documentation.


Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


Technical Skills and Experience

Software Proficiency:

Understanding of AutoCADMS OfficeStrong knowledge in procurement documentationExcellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Renewable Energy Systems:

2–5 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in the renewable energy or EPC industry.Experience with solar PV, BESS, or electrical equipment procurement is preferred.Ability to manage multiple RFQs and vendor interactions simultaneously.
