Microbe Research - Internship

Energy Alternatives India is offering a full-time internship in Chennai for Microbe Research. Interns will conduct research on terrestrial and marine microbes, prepare content, and analyze opportunities in biotechnology and sustainability. Candidates should be Civil Engineering students available for a 2-month in-office internship starting between April 28 and June 2, 2026. Stipend ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000/month, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.
About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:



1. Conduct research on both terrestrial and marine microbes, studying their characteristics, functions, and potential applications across environmental, industrial, and sustainability-related areas.

2. Undertake applied scientific research through literature reviews, database analysis, and structured evaluation of microbial innovations and technologies.

3. Prepare well-researched blog posts, short articles, and knowledge content translating scientific topics into clear and engaging formats.

4. Support the identification and analysis of emerging opportunities involving microbes in areas such as biotechnology, climate solutions, agriculture, water systems, and industrial processes.

5. Interact with international experts, researchers, and industry professionals to gather insights, perspectives, and developments in the field of microbiology.
