Job Description

Develop and support urban coastal planning scenarios.
Collect, organise, and analyse multi-source information, including quantitative datasets and qualitative materials (e.g. planning documents, reports, maps, interviews).
Conduct case studies related to coastal adaptation.
Produce clear visualisations (maps, diagrams, timelines, and graphics) to communicate research findings.
Support research documentation and writing for reports, presentations, and publications.
Collaborate with team members across planning, engineering, and policy domains.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in urban planning, urban design, architecture, geography, or a related design or built-environment discipline and with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience, and good knowledge, skills and expertise in relevant field.
Strong ability to collect, synthesise, and analyse information from diverse sources.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools such as QGIS and Adobe Suite.
Good writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
Interest or prior knowledge in coastal planning, climate adaptation, or water-related infrastructure is an advantage.
