Nanyang Technological University is hiring a Research Assistant specializing in semiconductor laser diodes. The role involves supporting research operations, conducting experiments, and assisting in project-related activities. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree and good writing skills. Entry-level applicants are welcome. The position is based in Singapore and is full-time.
Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant who has a research background on semiconductor laser diode/semiconductor photonics/semiconductor material. The staff will be involved in semiconductor laser diode related project. Key Responsibilities: To assist in research operations, including the procurement of laboratory supplies, experimental setup, literature review, evaluation of product specifications, and establishment of safe work processes. To ensure proper conduct and documentation of experiments in consultation with the project leader. To assist in fabrication, characterization and analysis of laser diodes. To support project-related activities, including events, publications, proposal preparation, planning, monitoring, and reporting, as required. Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals Entry level candidates are welcome to apply We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
