Biotech Research For Climate Studies - Internship

Energy Alternatives India is offering a full-time internship in Chennai for Biotech Research in Climate Studies. Interns will conduct research on biotech and bio-based industries, support website content, collaborate on projects related to bio-energy and bioplastics, gather market intelligence, and assist in report writing. Candidates should be Civil Engineering students available for a 2-month internship starting between July and August 2026. Stipend ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month.
About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:



1. Research & analysis: Explore, understand, and analyze emerging concepts in biotech, agriculture, and bio-based industries.

2. Website development support: Contribute content and insights to the BioBiz website, showcasing expertise and thought leadership in the biotech and biomass sectors.

3. Project collaboration: Work with the EAI climate tech consulting team to provide research support on topics such as bio-energy, biofuels, bioplastics, biochemicals, bioremediation, and other value-added bio-based products.

4. Market & intelligence gathering: Conduct primary and secondary research using databases, interviews, and direct interactions with bio-based solution providers.

5. Content development: Assist in preparing white papers and reports on the role of biotechnology in renewable energy, green chemicals, sustainable transport, packaging, waste management, and more.

6. Executive support: Help senior executives in developing focused presentations for corporate leaders worldwide.
