The Job

At Bexorg, the Lab Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of perfusion processes and overall laboratory maintenance. This position supports perfusion technicians by assisting with preparation, cleaning, sterilization, and inventory management while maintaining a well-organized, efficient, and aseptic lab environment. The Lab Technician will coordinate time-sensitive perfusion tasks, track supplies, and ensure the lab operates seamlessly to meet research and operational deadlines. Essential Duties:
• Preparation of the perfusion laboratory space
• Preparation of pre-perfusion tasks
• Communicate and coordinate with the perfusion team
• Laboratory space clean-up and maintenance
• General laboratory work

Preferred Education and Experience:
• Minimum required high school diploma or GED
• Preferred education in STEM

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, or Technical Proficiencies:
• Experience with sterile procedures and sterilization equipment
• Organizational and coordinating skills
• Working experience in a laboratory setting
• Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc.
• Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Can work independently and also excel in a team environment.
• Willingness to take on non-traditional tasks, roles, responsibilities, and challenges needed to accomplish company goals and objectives.

• This position is based in a laboratory setting and operates on a multiple-shift schedule, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Candidates must be available for on-call rotations as needed.
• We offer competitive shift differential pay for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Specific details regarding shift assignments and differential rates will be discussed during the hiring process.
