This temporary position offers a salary between R6,500 and R10,000 per month.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Driver to join our logistics team. As we operate within the recycling industry, this role requires a driver who is comfortable handling heavy loads and navigating various environments while maintaining a strict commitment to safety and company protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trailer towing and a proven track record of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe Transportation: Securely transport recycling materials to and from designated sites, ensuring all loads are balanced and fastened correctly.Trailer Operations: Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in hitching, reversing, and manoeuvring vehicles with heavy trailers attached.Load Management: Oversee the loading and unloading process, ensuring heavy recycling materials are handled according to weight limits and safety SOPs.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and trailer are in optimal working condition; report any mechanical issues immediately.Compliance: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company policies regarding vehicle use.Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and fuel records as required by the logistics department.Requirements & Qualifications:

Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License (EB, EC1, EC)Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience is essential.Trailer Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience driving with and manoeuvring trailers is a non-negotiable requirement.Background Clearances: Must have a clear criminal record and a clear credit history.Physical Stamina: Ability to work with heavy loads and assist in the physical aspects of the recycling collection process when necessary.Ethics: A high level of integrity, with a commitment to ethical behaviour and a "safety-first" mindset.Core Competencies:
