Senior HSE Supervisor – 35+ Years of Experience Preferred

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Health Safety Environment (HSE) Supervisor role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.


The Senior HSE Supervisor will oversee day-to-day health, safety, and environmental activities across projects and facilities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.


Responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections and audits, identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring the effectiveness of safety controls. The role involves leading accident and incident investigations, preparing reports, and tracking corrective and preventive measures. The HSE Supervisor will also develop and deliver HSE trainings, support risk assessments and method statements, maintain documentation and records, and collaborate with project managers, vendors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.


Qualifications

Strong foundation in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with the ability to implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
Hands-on experience in Accident Investigation and Inspection, including root-cause analysis, reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent) and knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry best practices.
Experience in construction, ICT, technology, or similar project-based environments is highly beneficial.
Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and promote a proactive safety culture.
Proven ability to maintain accurate HSE documentation, analyze data, and prepare clear reports and dashboards.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Ability to work on-site across multiple locations in Dubai, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to urgent HSE issues.
Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and site safety management
Good communication and training skills
