Job Description
ASM Global is seeking an Environmental Services Lead in Kansas City, MO, responsible for housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness in the arena. Key tasks include inspecting restrooms, event spaces, and public areas, leading a team of housekeeping attendants, and ensuring high cleanliness standards. Candidates should have at least one year of janitorial experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends.
Job Summary:
The Environmental Services Lead is responsible for performing daily housekeeping duties in all areas of the arena prior to, during and after events to maintain a clean facility for our guests. The incumbent is also be responsible for delegating and monitoring task lists for housekeeping attendants
Essential Duties:
+ Maintain Cleanliness of Facility
+ Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of venue restrooms, event spaces, corridors, offices, suites, lobbies, escalators, elevators, and exterior building grounds
+ Maintain public restroom facilities, ensuring that they are fully stocked, countertops are kept clean, waste receptacles are emptied and floors are kept in a safe and clean condition.
+ Maintain the cleanliness of concrete, terrazzo and carpeted surfaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
+ Lead the clean-up of assigned work areas.
+ Assist with trash removal from Event Level, Main Concourse and Upper Concourse as assigned.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
+ A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
+ 1 year janitorial experience in a large, multi-use facility.
+ Proven ability to lead and motivate staff.
+ Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
+ Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operations of various cleaning equipment.
+ Ability to maintain good business relations with all employees and managers in other departments.
+ Must be able to do repeated lifting (up to 25 pounds unassisted), bending, standing, extending arms, scrub, stoop, walk public areas on feet for up to 6 hours continuously. Stair climbing is also an important part of daily activities.
+ Must be able to work under pressure in time sensitive operations, in a fast paced environment.
+ Ability to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
