Campaign Manager

Environment America is hiring a Campaign Manager in Denver, CO, to protect bees and combat plastic pollution. The role involves educating citizens, developing advocacy skills, and managing outreach efforts. Currently, almost a quarter of bumblebee species are at risk of going extinct, including the American bumblebee. A big reason for this are pesticides called neonics. And worse, seed companies are now coating seeds with these poisons. We know the chemical industry is working hard to keep these pesticides in use. That’s why in our Denver office, we're working to support a ban on seeds that are coated with these bee-killing pesticides. Work to stop plastic pollution in our citizen outreach and field manager positions.

As a canvasser you will:
• Educate and engage citizens on a campaign to make real change on pressing environmental and public interest issues
• Develop essential communication and political advocacy skills
• Build membership and raise money for nonprofit groups in your community
• Earn leadership opportunities, supervising and managing staff in the field
• Gain the experience and connections needed to launch your career in nonprofit and policy work
