Job Description

Bonvenu Bank is seeking a full-time Branch Executive in Gretna, LA, responsible for overseeing branch operations, sales, and customer service. Candidates should have at least four years of retail banking experience and strong communication skills. The role involves mentoring staff, ensuring compliance, and fostering community relations. Bonvenu Bank is currently looking for an experienced Branch Executive for the Gretna, LA location.

If you are a leader with experience in bank branch operations, including sales and loans, and you have a passion for Customer Service and Mentoring, we would love to talk with you! The Branch Executive will play an integral part in growing Bonvenu’s presence in Gretna.

To be considered for this position you’ll need a minimum of four years in retail banking, a general knowledge of loans, excellent communication skills, and at least one year in a role requiring participation in interviewing applicants and completing employee reviews.

What you'll do at Bonvenu:

Create a world class customer experience environmentRepresent Bonvenu to the community through good customer relations, networking, and community eventsEstablish and help attain internal performance objectives for branch business volume, deposits, loan portfolio referrals, treasury management referrals, line of business referrals, and quality of audit reportsEnsure Bonvenu’s sales and service delivery expectations are met. Provide and maintain a professional, business-like atmosphere within the branchReview staff members for formal performance evaluations, recommend salary adjustments, counsel employees when needed, and coordinate training as needed.Drive operational excellence by engaging in all aspects of compliance, audit, and branch policyEnsure compliance to security procedures including assisting with investigations, and testing of security equipmentParticipate in and encourage lending activities indirectly – interviewing consumer loan applicants, order credit reports, request information from consumer as needed, notify consumer of loan decisionWork with business customers to assist with lending needsSupervise branch staffOther duties as required

Employee is required to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide own reliable transportation. This position requires light travel within a 100 mile radius and occasional travel to Shreveport/Bossier City.
