Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nature Education Officer to design and deliver engaging environmental and nature-based education programs. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Environmental Science or a related field, along with practical knowledge of nature, biodiversity, ecosystems, and conservation. The role involves conducting educational sessions, nature walks, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities to promote environmental stewardship among diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
· Must have their own vehicle with valid DL and for travel as per project required.

Develop and conduct nature and environmental education programs.
Plan and lead nature walks, field visits, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
Create educational materials, presentations, activity modules, and resource guides related to nature and environmental conservation.
Promote awareness of biodiversity, wildlife, ecosystems, climate change, sustainability, and environmental protection.
Coordinate with schools, colleges, NGOs, and community groups for educational outreach activities.
Support the development and implementation of environmental projects and conservation initiatives.
Maintain records, reports, and documentation of educational activities and program outcomes.
Assist in organizing environmental events, campaigns, exhibitions, and celebrations of environmental days.
Stay updated on current environmental issues, conservation practices, and educational methodologies.
Encourage participation and foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature among participants.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Botany, Forestry, Zoology, Environmental Science, Wildlife Science, or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience in nature education, environmental education, conservation projects, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of biodiversity, ecosystems, wildlife, and environmental issues.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct outdoor educational activities and field-based programs.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of environmental science, ecology, biodiversity, and conservation.
Good understanding of local flora, fauna, ecosystems, and nature interpretation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to engage diverse audiences, including children, youth, and community members.
Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills

Experience in conducting nature interpretation programs, eco-club activities, or environmental awareness campaigns.
Knowledge of sustainability, climate change, and environmental policies.
Experience in organizing outdoor educational activities and field-based learning programs.
Passion for conservation and environmental advocacy.

Salary
25000 to 28000 per month only
Pay: ₹11,529.80 - ₹59,019.21 per month
