Job Description

Attero is seeking a Legal Assistant - Environment in Noida, India, responsible for ensuring legal compliance, managing contracts, overseeing regulatory adherence, handling disputes, and maintaining legal documentation. The role involves providing legal advisory, conducting audits, and developing policies to mitigate risks. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience. As a Legal Compliance & Advisory professional at Attero, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing Legal Advisory
- Reviewing and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations
- Mitigating legal risks through proactive guidance
- Ensuring alignment of legal advice with business goals

- Managing Contract
- Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements (commercial contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, MoUs, etc.)
- Ensuring legal soundness, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance in contracts
- Maintaining a central repository of all legal agreements and tracking renewal timelines

- Overseeing Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensuring the organization's adherence to applicable laws and regulations
- Conducting regular compliance audits and risk assessments
- Staying updated with changes in laws that impact the business

- Handling Dispute Resolution & Litigation
- Managing legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters
- Representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary

- Managing Legal Documentation & Record Keeping
- Ensuring proper drafting and vetting of legal documents
- Maintaining confidential legal records and ensuring their accessibility and security
- Developing templates and legal documentation frameworks

- Risk Management & Policy Development
- Identifying potential legal risks and proposing strategies to mitigate them
- Developing and implementing company policies and procedures from a legal perspective
- Conducting training and awareness programs for internal teams on legal best practices
