IT Infrastructure Team Lead (AWS)

Attero Recycling is seeking an IT Infrastructure Team Lead in Noida, India, responsible for managing daily operations of the IT infrastructure. Key duties include team leadership, server and cloud administration, network and security operations, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure with leadership skills, relevant certifications, and strong technical expertise in Linux, networking, and cybersecurity.
The IT Infrastructure Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic scaling of the organization's core technological backbone. This role balances hands-on technical troubleshooting with people management, ensuring that servers, networks, and physical security infrastructures run seamlessly. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and decentralized execution, empowering team members to take ownership of their respective domains.




The core responsibilities for the job include the following:




Leadership and Team Management:

Decentralized Execution: Lead and mentor a team of system administrators and network engineers, encouraging ideal candidate accountability in task execution.Capacity Building: Facilitate cross-training and knowledge-sharing sessions to eliminate single points of failure within the IT operations team.Performance Tracking: Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear Key Result Areas (KRAs), and guide the team through complex technical escalations.Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors, ISPs, and hardware suppliers to ensure SLAs are met and procurement is handled efficiently.


Systems and Cloud Administration:

Server Management: Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of Linux-based server environments (e. g., Ubuntu) and Windows servers.Web Services: Ensures high availability and optimal configuration of web servers and reverse proxies like Nginx.Cloud and DevOps Support: Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud hosting infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and routinely test backup and disaster recovery protocols to ensure zero data loss and maximum uptime.


Network and Security Operations:

Network Infrastructure: ManageandoptimizeLAN/WANarchitecture, routing, switching, and VPN setups.Physical Security Systems: Oversee the configuration, bandwidth management, and remote access protocols for enterprise CCTV systems and Network Video Recorders (NVR).Cybersecurity: Implement robust firewall rules, monitor network traffic for anomalies, and ensure system-wide compliance with security best practices and patch management.Resource Monitoring: Utilize tools (like Zabbix, Prometheus, or Nagios) to proactively monitor disk usage, CPU load, and network bottlenecks to proactively monitor disk usage, CPU load, and network bottlenecks.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, or a related field.Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or DevOps, with at least 2 years in supervisory or team-lead capacity.Certifications: ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, AWS/Azure certifications, or RHCE (preferred).


Core Technical Skills:

Deep expertise in Linux system administration and command-line utilities.Strong understanding of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization technologies.Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall administration.Experience managing physical security infrastructure and optimizing video feed bandwidth.Familiarity with the Python scripting language for automating routine infrastructure tasks.
