The Centre for Climate Change Research is seeking passionate individuals aged 35 or younger for its Board of Directors - Youth Programs. Ideal candidates include M.S. or Ph.D. students and recent graduates from Canada or the USA. This volunteer position involves attending in-person meetings, contributing to youth-led initiatives aligned with UN SDGs, and collaborating with experts. An honorarium may be provided based on project scope. Application deadline is October 31, 2025.

Are you a passionate emerging leader eager to make a difference in climate action and sustainability? We invite motivated individuals to apply for the Board of Directors – Youth Programs, where your voice and ideas will help shape impactful youth-led initiatives. Who We’re Looking For: M.S. or Ph.D. students, or recent graduates from Canada, the USA, or any internationally recognized university; International students (M.S./Ph.D. level) presently residing in Canada or the USA; Individuals aged 35 or younger; No prior board experience required—just a strong commitment to sustainability and innovative thinking; Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, including U of T international students and graduates. Your Role: Contribute to key decision-making for youth-led initiatives aligned with the UN SDGs (particularly climate action); Collaborate with experts and partner organizations; Attend in-person meetings (including international opportunities)—travel expenses reimbursed; Support transformative projects that inspire real-world change.
