About The Role

We're looking for Atmospheric Science experts to develop and evaluate advanced scientific problems that train cutting-edge AI models to think with real scientific rigor.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working researchers, academics, and scientists who want to contribute to something at the frontier of technology — on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
Design and solve advanced atmospheric science problems with real-world relevance — covering areas like climate modeling, weather dynamics, atmospheric chemistry, and more
Review and evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and rigor
Develop complex, multi-step problem statements that challenge AI models to reason at an expert level
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to refine model outputs
Ensure scientific clarity, precision, and integrity across every deliverable
Work independently and on your own schedule — no meetings, no commute
Who You Are
Holds a Master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Meteorology, or a closely related field
Experienced with Python or R for scientific research or data analysis
Deep expertise in one or more of: climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, ecology, or sustainability science
Exceptional written communicator — able to explain complex concepts clearly and precisely
Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong commitment to scientific accuracy
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, AI evaluation, or quality assessment workflows
Background in academic publishing, peer review, or scientific writing
Familiarity with AI tools or language model capabilities
Experience working across interdisciplinary research teams
