What will you do? Make an impact! Waste Auditor
Join Tradebe, a leading provider of sustainable healthcare waste and environmental compliance services to the NHS and private sector. We’re looking for a detail-driven, environmentally focused Waste Auditor to support healthcare clinical organisations in improving their waste segregation, compliance, and sustainability performance.


What you’ll do:

Conduct waste segregation and compliance audits across NHS hospitals, clinics, and community sites.
Assist in carrying out and review of NHS Pre Acceptance Audits
Support NHS Trusts in meeting HTM 07-01, UK waste legislation, and NHS sustainability goals.
Travel to NHS sites and Tradebe facilities (Wrexham and Glasgow) with flexibility to manage your own diary.
Identify risks, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities.
Produce clear audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Deliver training to clinical and non-clinical staff on correct waste segregation and environmental compliance.
Work closely with NHS Estates, IPC, and Sustainability teams.
Support clients with KPI tracking, data reporting, and carbon reduction initiatives.
Ensure all work meets ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Do you have what it takes? Essential:

Experience in healthcare waste management, environmental auditing or compliance (ideally with the NHS).
Knowledge of HTM 07-01 and UK waste/environmental legislation.
Strong auditing, analytical, and reporting skills.
Excellent communicator, confident engaging staff at all levels.
UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable:

Environmental or waste management qualifications (CIWM, IEMA, etc.).
ISO 14001 auditing experience.
Experience delivering training.
