WSP is hiring a Sustainable Remediation Project Coordinator in Charleston, SC. The role involves overseeing commercial and federal environmental projects, managing teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance. Candidates should have 7-10 years of project management experience and a relevant degree. Responsibilities include client communication, project scheduling, and field documentation.
We are seeking an experienced Sustainable Remediation Project Coordinator to join our team at WSP. This role offers opportunities to work closely with clients, manage a team of talented resources, and develop project management skills through strong mentorship.
About the Role
This Sustainable Remediation Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of commercial and federal projects focused on environmental, sustainable, and remediation efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling and managing project teams to complete contract requirements while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals are achieved.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of commercial and federal projects primarily focused on environmental, sustainable, and remediation efforts.
• Communicate with clients to understand their objectives and assemble project teams to successfully achieve those objectives within scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
• Perform project-related field tasks, attend key meetings, coordinate and oversee subcontractors, provide project-related field documentation, and perform technical activities during project planning, design, and construction.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, track project expenditures, and accurately forecast estimated costs at completion.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant project management experience.
• BS degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience in an engineering or construction-related position.
• Experience assembling and managing project teams to complete contract requirements while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals are achieved.
