Sustainability Specialist - Climate

Mason Blake is seeking a Sustainability Specialist - Climate to join a global asset management firm in the UK. The role involves integrating climate and environmental themes into investment decisions, engaging with portfolio companies, and contributing to firmwide strategies. Candidates should have 7-10 years of ESG/sustainability experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for sustainable investing. This is a full-time position.
Our client, a global asset management firm is looking to recruit a Sustainability Specialist to focus on climate change and environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
• Work closely with investment teams to effectively integrate climate, nature and other environmental themes into investment decision-making
• Engage with portfolio companies on climate and environmental issues
• Provide research and insights to help support investment decisions
• Contribute to firmwide content and strategy on environmental and climate change issues
• Represent the firm across a range of environmental/sustainability related industry bodies and initiatives
• Actively participate in client engagement
• Assist in developing investment products and strategies aligned with climate and nature objectives

Candidate requirements:
• 7-10 years’ experience in ESG/sustainability with expertise in climate change and environmental issues
• Passion for sustainable and ESG investing
• Proven experience building data models for climate integration and scenario analysis
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Collaborative approach to work
