Storeperson

Ventia is hiring a Storeperson for a full-time, permanent role in South Guildford, WA. Responsibilities include managing stock levels, processing goods, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Role

Ventia is currently looking to engage a Storeperson on our Defence Maintenance Contract. Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, this position will see you ensuring that all elements of the stores service are carried out in accordance with contract requirements and appropriate Defence and Ventia policies. This role involves maintaining the accuracy of stock levels, managing stock movements, and ensuring goods are stored safely.

This position is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 03:45pm with a 12:00pm finish on Fridays, and will see you based at Palmer Barracks in South Guildford.

The pay rate for this position is $35.69 per hour with an additional $1.56 per hour once a hazardous chemical safety course is completed.

Key duties, but not limited to:
• Manage & process all goods in and goods out from receipting through to despatch
• Ensure the accuracy of the processing paperwork
• Undertake stock takes as required
• Ensure availability of oils, lubricants, & other necessary consumables
• Perform safety checks & audits on equipment and materials
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements & asset distribution
• Collect & distribute assets to team members based on daily requirements
• Communicate with the Technical Supervisor about service delivery & customer issues
• Collaborate with another Storeperson (part-timer) to provide seamless and efficient customer service

Requirements:
• Current Driver’s Licence – HR Class highly regarded
• Ability to obtain and hold a Defence security clearance
• Forklift Licence
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite
• Experience with SAP – Highly regarded
• Excellent communication & ability to work autonomously or in collaboration with a team
• Prior experience in a stores or warehousing role
