Ps Solar is hiring a Solar Installer in India responsible for executing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installations. The position is full-time with a salary range of ₹10,000.00 to ₹45,100.43 per month.
Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Project installer, technician and execute rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installations. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, team coordination, quality control, and ensuring timely project completion in compliance with safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Oversee installation of rooftop and ground-mounted ongrid offgrid solar PV systems

Execute projects as per design drawings, technical specifications, and timelines

Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams

Site Management

Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments

Manage daily site activities and workforce (technicians, contractors, labor)

Ensure proper material handling and inventory at site

Installation & Commissioning

Supervise structure erection (RCC/metal), tin shade module mounting, and inverter installation

Ensure proper cable laying (DC & AC), earthing, and lightning protection

Support testing, commissioning, and synchronization of systems

Quality & Safety

Ensure installation complies with quality standards and client requirements

Implement safety procedures and enforce PPE usage at site

Conduct regular inspections and resolve technical issues

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily progress reports and site records

Prepare installation checklists, commissioning reports, and handover documents

Coordinate with clients, DISCOMs, and regulatory authorities when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Iti, diploma, 10+2 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field

Hands-on experience in solar rooftop and ground mount installations

Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong leadership and team management skills

Willingness to travel to project sites

Preferred Skills

Experience with MW-scale ground-mounted projects

Familiarity with net metering and grid connectivity processes

Knowledge of safety standards and electrical regulations
