Service Technician

Archroma is seeking a Service Technician for its Packaging Technologies division in Bolton, UK. The role involves supporting the sales team by checking equipment, optimizing dosing rates, managing inventories, organizing customer orders, and maintaining contact with clients. The position aims to drive profitable growth and requires proactive engagement with customers to identify new business opportunities. This is a permanent position based at the company's location.

Service Technician (m/w/d)

In this role you will be responsible for driving profitable growth for our business by supporting the sales team in UK by being the Service Technician towards our customers.

Main responsibilities:

Checking pumps and equipment at customers to ensure our application are running smoothMeasure agreed parameters to optimize dosing rateShade matchings as agreedCheck available inventories avoid risking stock outGet customers orders organized in timeKeep contact with dedicated customer contactsMaintain existing sales and find new business opportunitiesAlign actions with Sales Manager to have a full picture available and to prepare stock allocationThis is a permanent and full-time position to be based in Home Office, preferably located in the north of England. The role includes travelling within UK.

Your profile:

We are looking for You who are/have.

Technical education within process or chemical engineeringExperience from Sales (within the Paper industry would be preferred)Ability to communicate and write well in EnglishEnjoys teamwork and collaboration.Strong ability to focus on detailsUser knowledge in Microsoft OfficeDriving license (mandatory for the role)Furthermore, you are a proactive team player with a strong eagerness to drive and develop the business. You are accountable for your own responsibility area and have the experience of working towards deadlines. You are also very customer oriented and have the willingness to travel and visit the customers in UK.
