Job Context:


Job Summary: The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering a just and caring society since 1973. CCDB is currently seeking a Capacity Building Coordinator for its project, “Promoting Climate Resilient Community in Bangladesh (PCRCB); Phase II” Project. The Coordinator of Capacity Building will lead the design, organization, and implementation of capacity-building initiatives of CDDB to address emerging climate challenges. This role involves developing and managing partnerships. coordinating training programs, and driving revenue generation through strategic planning. The coordinator will work closely with academic institutions, INGOS/NGOs, government agencies, and the private sector to foster innovation and enhance capacity-building efforts aligned with global standards.


Project Name: Promoting Climate Resilient Community in Bangladesh (PCRCB): Phase II Project.


Job Nature: Contractual. (February 2025 to June 2026)


Job Responsibilities:


1. Capacity-Building Programs and Events:



Coordinate national, regional, and international capacity-building training initiatives.
Conduct workshops and seminars focusing on emerging climate challenges and solutions.


Design and deliver tailored training programs for diverse stakeholders. including government bodies, INGOs/NGOs, Private Sector and development agencies.

2. Partnership Development:



Develop a scoping and partnership strategy to identify potential collaborations.
Create a partnership opportunity mapping framework.
Build and maintain partnerships with national and international institutions, including academic organizations, NGOs, government agencies, and private sector entities.
Establish networking platforms and forums for knowledge exchange and best practices.
Engage with international organizations to align training initiatives with global priorities.


Collaborate with global institutions to incorporate diverse perspectives into training programs.

3. Revenue Generation and Networking:



Develop a comprehensive revenue generation strategy.
Map and engage donors with mandates for capacity-building training.
Promote and sell tailored training programs to various organizations, including CCDB’s partners and other stakeholders.
Access and utilize opportunities within government-led capacity-building initiatives.
Secure funding through development donor-supported projects.


Build relationships with donor organizations and prepare funding proposals to meet their specific requirements.

4. Strategic Communication and Advocacy:



Develop a strategic communication framework to engage targeted funding organizations.
Advocate for capacity development initiatives through effective communication and relationship-building strategies.
