You have experience in carpentry, painting, and plumbing. Regardless, you are dependable, work hard, communicate well, and aren’t afraid to ask questions or ask for help when needed.
What the job is: As a Seasonal Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will provide general maintenance and repair work for all Green Diamond offices, buildings, and facilities associated with the California Timberlands Operation. This role requires experience in carpentry, painting, minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. This role is expected to provide routine repair and maintenance at the various sites to keep the facilities and grounds in good working order.


This work includes cleaning around the outside of facilities to include mowing, trimming, and other landscape tasks. Additionally, this position provides assistance to Green Diamond Security as needed which may include such tasks as maintenance and repair of gates, maintaining signage, and reporting trespass issues to our security patrol.


Work schedule: Your schedule will be determined upon hire. An example of the schedule could be Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Usual days off are Saturday and Sunday. The job will last from May through the end of October 2026.


Where you’ll work: You will work at our offices located in Humboldt County along the northern California coast. Our offices are nestled in the forest where the redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean.


Compensation Details: The rate for this job is $20.00 per hour.
