Your Role:

As a Renewable Energy Solutions Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of renewable energy projects, including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage solutions, and integrated energy strategies. Working closely with internal teams and external delivery partners, you will assist in preparing proposals, conducting data analysis, and ensuring the successful implementation of energy solutions tailored to client needs.

This role is ideal for an organised and analytical individual with a passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and client-focused solutions.

You’ll be a key contributor in supporting the company’s growth strategy, helping clients navigate complex energy markets, introducing new services, and building lasting relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

Proposal Preparation

Collaborate with the team to prepare high-quality proposals for renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and sustainability targets.

Assist in drafting project scopes, timelines, and financial projections for solar PV, BESS, and PPA initiatives.

Data Analysis and Modelling

Conduct detailed energy usage and cost analyses to inform project designs and optimise client energy solutions.

Use data to model the financial and environmental impact of proposed systems, including ROI, energy savings, and carbon reduction.

Client Engagement Support

Support the preparation and delivery of client presentations, ensuring data and technical insights are effectively communicated.

Assist in responding to client inquiries, providing clear and accurate information on project benefits and feasibility.

Project Implementation Coordination

Work closely with external delivery partners to ensure smooth implementation of solutions, including site preparation and system installation.

Monitor project progress, tracking milestones and addressing any issues that may arise during the delivery phase.

Research and Market Insights

Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities for expanding the company’s renewable energy offerings.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, incentives, and policies affecting renewable energy projects.

Ongoing System Monitoring and Reporting

Assist in setting up monitoring tools to track the performance of installed systems.

Prepare post-implementation reports highlighting key performance metrics, including energy production, cost savings, and environmental benefits.

Collaboration and Development

Work with cross-functional teams, including business development, account management, and delivery partners, to ensure cohesive project execution.

Participate in internal training and development sessions to enhance technical expertise and project management skills.
• Client Renewals: Ensure client retention by engaging in proactive communication and renewal of services.
• Procurement & Renewable Solutions: Manage procurement contracts, framework agreements, and energy services, while introducing renewable energy solutions such as PPAs, solar projects, and EV charging infrastructure.
• CRM Management: Maintain and develop your client portfolio within the CRM system, following all internal processes and administration.
• Triggers & Reporting: Monitor energy market trends and use trigger points to advise clients on when to buy, ensuring they achieve the best pricing.
• Client Development: Develop and progress Account Development Plans (ADPs), focusing on the long-term needs of each client and identifying areas for growth and further support.
• Upselling: Present additional value-added services, such as renewable energy solutions, energy efficiency projects, and flexible procurement options.
• Bill Validation & Energy Market Expertise: Ensure accurate bill validation, compliance with industry schemes, and provide expert advice on energy procurement strategies.
• Quoting & Contract Administration: Support pricing, sales, and service administration, with help from the service delivery team where needed.
• Business Development Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to identify and act on new opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.

About You:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with the following qualifications and attributes:

Education: A degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in energy systems, data analysis, or renewable energy projects. Exposure to solar PV and/or battery energy storage systems is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and data modelling tools. Experience with energy software or monitoring platforms is advantageous.

Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.

Team Player: Collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external partners.

Organisation: Remarkable organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Basic gross pay: £45-55k
• Plus commission and bonus
• Hours: 8:45am to 5:30pm
