Job Description

ICF is seeking an entry-level Energy Analyst for remote work to provide advisory services in the energy/utilities sector. Responsibilities include conducting various energy analyses, preparing reports, and building client relationships. Candidates should have a BA/BS in a related field and experience in quantitative analysis, preferably in energy consulting. We are looking for an entry level energy consultant to provide advisory services to the energy/utilities industry. The consultant will primarily conduct analysis of energy usage, energy efficiency or demand response interventions, cost-effectiveness, utility customer experience or characterization, or other related energy analyses.

What you will be doing:

Perform wide range of energy related analysis which may include: statistical analyses, analysis of fuel and utility bills, estimate energy efficiency savings and costs, measure engineering analysis, program benefit-cost analysis, program development and planning, evaluation analysis, market research, survey design, and secondary research.Complete assigned tasks and analyses to project manager and manager's satisfaction. Prepare written reports and presentation materials and assist in the development of project deliverables. Justify and document technical decisions related to research, planning, and data analysis. Begin to build and maintain relationships with clients to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

BA/BS in a related field, or BS in a recognized engineering discipline from an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program5+ years of experience performing quantitative or analytical work, preferably in the energy, utilities, sustainability, or related consulting environment2+ years of experience using Excel for data analysis, including common formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIFS, pivot tables)

What we would like you to have:

Experience with one or more programming languages, Visual Basic, R, Stata, SQL, SAS, PythonExperience with analysis of common energy efficiency measures including lighting, HVAC and other equipment and systemsAdditional certifications may be preferred i.e. CEM, IPMVP, etc. 2+ years in the energy industry experience

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.



The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89,649.00 - $152,404.00
