Job Description



Enfinity Global is seeking a Power Markets Analyst to lead detailed US power market research and analysis, perform production cost modelling, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The role requires deep knowledge of power markets, with particular emphasis on solar, battery storage, and data centre applications.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams — including Power Systems, Offtake, and Land Origination — to support broader project and market objectives. This is a modelling-, research-, and analysis-intensive role, carried out in close collaboration with team members based in both India and the US.

Energy market modelling – update US dataset & forecast Market research and analysisReport writingData analysisPython-based automationPeriodically reviewing Integrated Resource Plans (IRPs), load forecasts, and capacity procurement targets at the utility level




Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the energy sectorDegree in Power Systems, Energy Systems, or a related renewable energy Hands-on experience with PLEXOS, PROMOD, or other relevant production cost modelling softwareFamiliarity with key US power markets — ERCOT, SPP, MISO, WECC, and PJM — is highly desirable; in-depth expertise in at least one of these markets is strongly preferredProven ability to set, manage, and track multiple priorities and the details associated with themStrong organizational skills and a keen attention to detailAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and working familiarity with PythonFluent in English, with a strong command of professional vocabularyA creative thinker who continually seeks better ways of workingA strong sense of ownership and a commitment to getting things right
