Job Description

Stride Climate Investments is seeking a Performance Analyst for their Ahmedabad office, with a salary range of INR 10 LPA to 18 LPA. The role involves monitoring and analyzing solar power plant performance, preparing MIS reports, and providing actionable insights. Candidates should have 6-7 years of experience in solar analytics and strong skills in MS Excel, with knowledge of Power BI and Python being advantageous.
Role Purpose The Performance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the operational performance of solar power plants. The role focuses on MIS reporting, performance monitoring, loss analysis, and generation of actionable insights to support informed decision-making by O&M, asset management, and leadership teams.


Key Responsibilities
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Monitor daily, monthly, and annual performance of solar power plants using SCADA and site-level dataTrack key KPIs such as Generation, PR, CUF, Energy Yield, Availability, and LossesIdentify under-performance, anomalies, and trends across sitesSupport root cause analysis in coordination with O&M teamsData validation (SCADA, Historical)Maintain proper documentation related to asset management
MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual MIS reportsAutomate and standardize Excel-based MIS templatesEnsure data accuracy and validation before report circulationDevelop clear charts, tables, and dashboards
Insights & Decision Support
Convert raw data into actionable insightsProvide comparative analysis across sites and regionsSupport management reviews and leadership reporting
Analytics & Tools
Advanced MS Excel for large-scale data analysisDevelop Power BI dashboards (good to have)Use Python for automation and analysis (advantage)
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with O&M, SCADA, IT, and Asset Management teamsAct as a point of contact for performance analytics
Experience & Qualifications
6–7 years of experience in solar or renewable energy analyticsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
Skills
Advanced MS Excel (mandatory)Strong understanding of solar plant KPIsPower BI and PVSystPython – added advantage
