Project Manager: Oil and Gas Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our team in the development of large-scale oil and gas projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in managing complex projects from select/define to execute stage. They must have expertise in contracts, offshore platforms, compressors, machineries, and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
• To develop, implement, and maintain procedures for interface management, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders.
• To provide technical advice and recommendations to project teams, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters.
• To organize and attend project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• To assess and mitigate risks, providing guidance on engineering strategies and commercial agreements.
• To ensure that all assessment advice and recommendations are fully documented, adhering to industry best practices and internal procedures.
• To deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering advice, maintaining full awareness of the latest technical and commercial developments.
• To implement offshore standards, procedures, tools, best practices, and quality requirements, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Experience in select/define/execute stage, with expertise in contracts, offshore platforms, compressors, machineries, and structures.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation associated with offshore projects.
• High degree of competency in future planning, with proven experience in delivery of large packages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and develop key engineering decisions.
• Sound planning and analysis skills, with ability to look forward and anticipate problems.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment, with good initiative and ability to work under pressure.
