Our client, an Indian financial conglomerate, is seeking to hire a Managing Director for their Investment Banking business to spearhead the Indian consumer sector business.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the consumer sector within the investment banking division.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
Deal Execution: I will lead the execution of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements.
Team Management: Mentor and guide junior bankers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and excellence.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the consumer sector.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, leveraging existing networks and relationships.
Collaboration: Work closely with other divisions (e.g., equity research, sales & trading) to deliver comprehensive financial services to clients.

Qualifications:
Education: MBA/CA or equivalent degree from a top-tier institution.
