Job Description
Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Analyst in Stamford, CT, responsible for overseeing analysts and managing investment workflows. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in investment research, analytics, and team management. Key responsibilities include sourcing and monitoring hedge fund managers, conducting due diligence, and improving research processes. The position offers a salary of $150-200k plus bonuses, with a requirement to work five days in the office.
Position Overview
Title: Sr. Analyst

Base: 150-200k + bonus
Experience: 5-10yrs
This role will oversee 1 or 2 Analysts on the team - some management experience is ideal
The role is designed for a candidate who takes ownership of maintaining, managing, and continuously improving repeatable processes across the investment workflow, ensuring consistency, scalability, and high-quality execution across all activities. This person must be able to perform fundamental analytical work and augment and design strong workflow and controls across the investment process. They must also be able to manage, develop, and set a standard of excellence for the junior analysts on the team.
The Senior Analyst will support the partner group responsible for the firm’s manager research and portfolio analysis efforts, working closely with and managing other members of the research team. This role offers a front-row seat to the firm’s investment philosophy which combines rigorous research, deep manager relationships, and process-driven execution with increasing responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst will play a key role in sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring hedge fund managers and co-investment opportunities. Responsibilities span four core categories:
1.Manage the Research Processes and Team
• Administer existing research processes and procedures to ensure quality execution
• Work with the partner group to continuously improve research processes and procedures to ensure best practice
• Manage, develop, and hold accountable junior analyst team
2. Investment Research
• Conduct investment and operational due diligence on prospective managers
• Prepare for and participate in meetings with external managers
• Write research notes, memos, and internal updates
• Support the execution of the firm’s investment process through structured procedures and documentation
3. Analytics
• Perform quantitative analysis and build exhibits in Excel
• Support portfolio construction efforts, including revenue share modeling and scenario analysis
4. Monitoring
• Monitor and evaluate existing managers, including performance tracking and operational updates
• Conduct market research to inform macro views and portfolio positioning
• Review portfolio-level reports for internal and external distribution
5. Special Projects
• Update performance databases and portfolio models
• Contribute to firm-wide strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects

Experience & Education
• Undergraduate degree required
• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated project and process management experience
• Knowledge of fundamental research qualitative and quantitative best practices
