Investment Banking Associate

Clearsight Advisors is seeking an Investment Banking Associate in Tysons, VA, requiring 3-4 years of investment banking experience and a relevant bachelor's degree. The role involves financial analysis, transaction execution, and client presentations, with a focus on teamwork and mentorship. Candidates must have strong financial modeling skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This is an in-person position at the Metro DC Headquarters or NYC office.
Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship. This position requires 3-4 years of direct investment banking experience.




An Investment Banking Associate at Clearsight Advisors plays a critical execution and project‑management role within the investment banking team. Associates work closely with Analysts, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors to execute mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. The role combines deep financial analysis, client‑ready materials, and deal coordination, often under tight deadlines.




Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a top academic institution 3–4 years of relevant experience in investment bankingAdvanced financial modeling and valuation skillsStrong accounting knowledgeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to multitask


Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Modeling

Build and review complex financial modelsAnalyze historical and projected financial statementsPerform valuation analyses and scenario modelingReview analyst work for accuracy and quality controlTransaction Execution

Support execution Coordinate due diligence processes and data roomsInteract with legal teams, accountants, and external advisorsTrack deal milestones, timelines, and deliverablesPrepare transaction documentationClient Materials & Presentations

Create and review pitch books, management presentations, and confidential information presentations (CIPs)Ensure materials are analytically sound, well‑structured, and client‑readyParticipate in client meetings, calls, and internal deal discussionsAssist senior bankers in developing strategic recommendationsTeam Leadership & Mentorship

Manage and train analystsDelegate work and provide constructive feedbackServe as the first line of quality control before VP-level reviewHelp maintain team morale in a high‑pressure environment
