Responsibilities & Context
Operational Management:



Oversee day-to-day recycling hub operations, including collection, sorting, segregation, and processing of recyclable materials.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and facilities.
Monitor and maintain quality standards in recycling processes.
Develop and implement operational workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

Staff Supervision:



Lead, train, and manage a team of employees, including warehouse staff, drivers, and sorters.
Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment.

Financial Management:



Manage the hub’s budget and operational expenses.
Oversee labor payments and ensure timely disbursement of wages.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability without compromising quality.

Inventory and Logistics



:Manage incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
Coordinate with suppliers and clients for timely deliveries and pickups.
Ensure the availability and maintenance of necessary equipment and vehicles.

Compliance and Sustainability:



Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and safety standards.
Promote and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with the company’s goals.
Maintain records and reports for auditing and compliance purposes.

Stakeholder Coordination:



Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, sales, and logistics, for seamless operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, vendors, and recycling partners.

Reporting:



Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Monthly KOBO Toolbox reports on materials collection, waste worker and RBU information.
