Job Description

Trail Surge UK is seeking an experienced Bike & E-Bike Mechanic for a hands-on role in Nuneaton. The position involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing bikes, including electric models. The job starts at 18 hours per week with potential for full-time as the business grows. Candidates must have prior mechanic experience and be able to work independently in a busy workshop environment.
About TrailSurge UK
TrailSurge UK is a fast-growing electric bike, electric scooter and outdoor leisure retailer based in Nuneaton. We sell nationwide online and also operate from our local unit for customer collections, repairs, servicing, bike builds and workshop preparation.
We are now looking for an experienced Bike & E-Bike Mechanic to join our team.

This is a hands-on workshop role for someone who already knows how to diagnose, repair and service bikes to a high standard. You must be confident working independently and able to complete most repair jobs without needing constant support.

The Role
You will be working on a wide range of standard bikes, electric bikes and related products. The work will include customer repairs, warranty repairs, servicing, new bike assembly, PDI checks and general workshop duties.
We need someone who can look at a bike, identify the issue, explain what needs doing, and carry out the repair properly.

This is not a trainee mechanic role. We are looking for someone who already has real workshop or hands-on repair experience.

Hours & Growth Opportunity

This role will start as 18 hours per week, working 3 days per week:

Tuesday – 6 hours

Wednesday – 6 hours

Friday – 6 hours

Exact start and finish times can be discussed.

As the business grows and the workshop gets busier, we expect this role to increase quickly. The aim is for this position to become full-time as soon as the workload allows, most likely around summer.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing company early and grow with the role.
