Job Summary:** Pest Control Partnership Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pest & Bird Technician to identify, assess, and implement effective pest and bird control solutions for commercial and residential clients. This role requires a strong understanding of various pest and bird behaviours, safe application techniques, and excellent customer service skills. Job Responsibilities:** * Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest and bird infestations, entry points, and contributing factors. * Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a range of techniques including baiting, trapping, exclusion, and deterrent systems. * Apply pesticides and other control products safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations and company protocols. * Install and maintain bird control devices such as netting, spikes, and wire systems. * Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and proper sanitation practices. * Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and client interactions. * Ensure all equipment and vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked. * Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and environmental regulations. * Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and building strong relationships. * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies. Job Qualifications:** * Valid state-issued Pest Control Operator (PCO) license or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe. * Proven experience in pest and bird control, preferably with a focus on both residential and commercial properties. * Strong knowledge of common pest and bird species, their biology, and effective control methods. * Ability to safely handle and apply a variety of pest control products and equipment. * Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. * Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or further education a plus.
