Perform welding and metal fabrication to support repair and reinforcement of production equipment
Review shift pass-downs and communicate equipment status, ongoing repairs, and operational concerns
Record daily production metrics, key equipment data, and downtime events to support operational tracking and reliability improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, EHS, Operations to support equipment performance, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives

 Desired Qualifications:

Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical production equipment
Hands-on experience working with 480 VAC and lower voltage electrical systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial electrical control cabinets
Experience with TIG or MIG welding for equipment repair
Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic preferred
Experience working in accordance with NEC electrical codes and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices
Ability to recognize early indicators of equipment failure and proactively address reliability risks
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies and industry standards
Effective communication with engineers and production managers regarding equipment issues, root causes, and solutions
Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place
